d/o Louis Franois Suzor and Marie Josephte LeBeau. Born at Assumption. Married Etienne Jahan dit Laviolette and Antoine Bernard dit Lafontaine. Buried on November 17, 1820.Catherine was the daughter of Louis Francis Susor and Josette LeBeau, born on Jan. 28, 1776 at Assumption, Sandwich, Canada. She married Stephen Laviolette on Nov.9,1796. They Built their log cabin on the south side of Otter Creek, LaSalle, Monroe, Michigan. Stephen being one of the original Frenchmen to clear this land and settle on it in 1794. Catherine and Stephen had four children together : Antoine, Louis, Dominic, and Mary. Stephen died on Oct. 1,1804 and was buried at St Antoine Cemetery.
The following year she married a younger man from the north side of Otter creek, he was Antoine Bernard Lafontaine and they were married late in November of 1805 in St Anne Catholic Church at Detroit. Antoine moved into Catherine's cabin and there they had three children together: Pierre, Catherine, and Antoine Jr.
At 44 years of age Catherine died on Nov. 17,1820, Antoine made her coffin and she was buried at St Antoine Cemetery.
