Henry Veltkamp, 63, of rural Rock Valley died Wednesday at his home after a long illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Saturday in the First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. Roger Bultman officiated.

Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.

Mr. Veltkamp was born Dec. 1, 1920 in Rock Valley and attended Rock Valley Christian School.

He married Lucille Bolkema, Jan. 7, 1948 in Rock Valley. They farmed in the Rock Valley area their entire married life.

He was a member and elder of the First Christian Reformed Church and past member of Rock Valley Christian School Board.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gerald of Lynden, WA., and Eugene of Sioux Center; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Winerva) Kramer of Lynden and Mrs. Merle (Loretta) Wynia of Maurice; two brothers, Sam of Rock Valley and Martin of Grand Rapids, MI; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Ver Burg of Rock Valley, Mrs. Richard (Hattie) Dekker of Chicago Heights, IL; and Mrs. Coba Vander Bok of Rock Valley and five grandchildren.
