Albert Veltkamp, 77 of Rock Valley, died at a Rock Valley hospital September 6.
Services were September 9, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley with the Rev. Roger Bultman officiating.
Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.
Mr. Veltkamp was born on Feb. 12, ,1904, at Dispatch, Kas.
He married Rolena Moorlag on Feb. 11, 1926 at Rock Valley.
He worked as a mason in the Rock Valley area.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Dick of Boyden, IA; three daughters, Mrs. Peter (Grace) Jacobsma of Visalia, CA; Mrs. Gerald (Henrietta) Haak of Hills, MN; and Mrs. Gerrit (Jean) Vande Kamp of Rock Rapids; four brothers, Sam and Henry, both of Rock Valley, Martin of Grand Rapids, MI; and Herman of Holland, MN; three sisters, Mrs. James Ver Burg and Mrs. Wilbur Vander Bok, both of Rock Valley, and Mrs. Richard Dekker of Chicago, 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
