Alice L. Abens (nee Lippy), 90, of Oswego, IL, died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Jennings Terrace in Aurora, IL. She was born May 10, 1914 in Oswego, IL the daughter of the late Benjamin J. and Margaret (nee Shropshire) Lippy. Prior to her retirement in 1950 she was employed as a mail clerk for many years.
She is survived by her two brothers, Harvey Lippy of Lakeville, IN and Glenn (Carole) Lippy of Fort Myers, FL; and by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Abens; and brother, Ben "Bink" Lippy.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at the McKeown-Dunn Funeral Home, Ltd and Cremation Service, 210 S. Madison St., Oswego, IL from 9 AM until the funeral hour of 11 AM with Rev.
