Mark E. Lane, 48, of Ronan, Montana, formerly of Lafayette, passed away at 10:05 a.m., February 23, 2013, from injuries sustained in an accident on February 19, 2013.

Mark was born September 4, 1964, to the late Hershel D. Lane (1997) and the late Evelyn P. Ausban (2010).

Mark enjoyed being with family and friends, playing cards and billiards, automobile repair and loved the outdoors. His good nature was to help anyone in any way that he could and he continued that kindness by being an organ donor.

Mark is survived by four siblings, Mary Holmes, Vicki Lane, Connie Kizer and Edward Lane; stepfather, Ernest Ausban; along with six nieces and six nephews, all of Lafayette.

Mark was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas W. Lane (12/02/2012), of Ronan, Montana and grandparents Arwin and Goldie Buchanan of Somerset, Kentucky and Edward and Anna Lane, of Nancy, Kentucky.

A memorial service will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on March 16, 2013, at Duncan Hall, 619 Ferry St., Lafayette.

Mark will be laid to rest in a private service at Lane Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.
