Alice Mae Myers, age 76, formerly of Menomonie, had end of life on Monday, March 21, 2005, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center in Madison.

Alice Mae Myers was born on May 27, 1928, to Louie and Olga (Mae) Fisher in Menomonie. She attended Menomonie High School. Later she married William J. Myers on May 14, 1948, in Menomonie. Together they farmed in the town of Tainter until January 1982. From 1972 to 1981, they owned and operated The Knapp House Supper Club. Alice moved to De Forest in 1986 to be close to her daughter.

Alice is survived by three daughters and one son, Chjar (Thomas) Johnson of Menomonie, Sacia (Rodney) Pence of Madison, Billie Jo (William) Fiege of Menomonie, and Michael (Debra) Myers of Mesa, Ariz.; nine grandchildren, Cal Johnson of Osceola, Derek (Thea) Johnson of Menomonie, Velvet (Jerry) Holmes of Madison, Seth and Trevor Fiege of Menomonie, Aaron (Lisa) Ahrens of Chetek, Valerie Ahrens of Menomonie, Amber (Jason) Spisak of Mesa, Ariz., and Benjamin (Jenny) Myers of Mesa, Ariz.; five great-grandchildren, Griffyn Holmes, Summer Ahrens, Kevin and Kyle Ahrens, Sarah Spisak; two brothers, Hub (Lois) Fisher of Menomonie and Allen Fisher of Menomonie; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; two daughters, Velvet Myers and Rebecca Myers; one son, Daniel Myers; and two sisters, Delores White and Connie Fox.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Menomonie with the Rev. Tom Krieg officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Family and friends are welcome from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie.

Memorials will be given to Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center.
