Robert Howard Phillips, age 68 departed this life on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Methodist Medical of Oak Ridge. Born September 4, 1944 in Scott County to the late Dillard and Ora Mae Acres Phillips
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Lee Phillips, Billy Joe Phillips, Cleophas Phillips and Rufus Phillips; nephews, Christopher Phillips and Patrick Phillips.
Survivors include his children, Robert Dwayne Phillips, Michael Dwight Phillips, Denise Phillips; and a grandson, Konnor Jaylan Caldwell; the mother of his children Helen P. Luallen: sisters, Betty Jean Tedder, Peggy Comer; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, and many special friends.
Friends may visit with the Phillips family on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 6:00 until time of the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Curtis Phillips officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Scott Memorial Cemetery.
