Terrace in Ladysmith.
Alice was born Alice Lorraine
Coggins to George and Laura Coggins
on June 25, 1919. She had four
brothers and five sisters.
Alice married Marvin Jean Hanson
in Ladysmith on Sept. 4. 1943.
They had two sons. Allan John was
born on May 7, 1945, and Bruce
Gene born on March 8, 1948.
They were charter members of-
the Ladysmith Baptist Church along
with other couples. They were active
in the church until their deaths.
Allan married Janice Coleman on
April 1. 1967. They had three children:
Dawn Marie.Andrew Paul and
Melissa Lynn. Bruce married Clarissa (Chris)
Callaway on Nov. 10,1967.
They had three daughters: Lea Carlene.
Julie Kay and Allison Renee.
Alice had 11 great-grandchildren:
Brittany. Njcole. Payton, Brett.
Drew, Morgan, Shania, Trent. Hunter,
Logan and Riley.
She was preceded in death by ber
parents: her husband: her grandson
Payton; her son Allan; three brothers
and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Tuesday.
Aug. 28. at Ladysmith Baptist
Church with Pastor David Smith
officiating. Burial was in Riverside
Cemetery in Ladysmith.
The Nash-Jackan Funeral Home
assisted with arrangements.
