87, of Old Monroe, died Wednesday (Jan. 9, 2002) at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Troy.
Mrs. Bothe was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Aid at St. Paul United Church of Christ and an avid quilter at Winfield Senior Center.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 3838 East Highway 47, Winfield. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 480 Brevator Road, Old Monroe. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Among survivors are two sons, Donald Bothe of Old Monroe and Kenneth Bothe of Wentzville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

WINFIELD - Marie Catherine Bothe, 87, of Old Monroe, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Troy.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at St. Paul United Church of Christ near Old Monroe. The Rev. Jeanne Lischer will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul UCC Cemetery near Old Monroe.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
Mrs. Bothe was born May 8, 1914, in Old Monroe, to William and Rosina F. Kurtz Dickbernd.
She was married to Albert Henry Bothe on Oct. 16, 1935, in Old Monroe. He preceded her in death June 4, 1988.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Bothe of Old Monroe and Kenneth Bothe of Wentzville; and three grandchildren, Jason Bothe, Kelly Bothe and Laura Bothe.
The family wishes to include as survivors, one daughter-in-law, Janet Bothe; one granddaughter-in-law, Stacey Bothe; and two great-grandchildren, Danielle and Christopher.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, the Rev. Elmer Dickbernd and William Dickbernd; and one sister, Olga Krueger.
Mrs. Bothe was a member of the Ladies Aid at St. Paul United Church of Christ and an avid quilter at WINCO in Winfield.
