LAURA AHERN
Laura Alice Ahern of 550 D Street, San Rafael, a 60-year resident of Marin County, died at her home yesterday. She was 92 years old.
She was the widow of James B. Ahern.
Mrs. Ahern was born at La Grange, Stanislaus County. Her parents came to California from Ireland in 1949. She lived in the same house on D Street for 46 years.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Kirby of Sausalito and Mrs. Harold Haley of San Rafael; a son, James Ahern of San Francisco; a sister, Rosella Bates of Corte Madera; nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral cortege will leave Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael, at 9 a.m. Thursday and go to St Raphael’s Church where a Requiem High Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at the mortuary at 8 p.m. tomorrow.
