Robert M. Ballew, 46, To Be Buried Today
Robert M. Ballew, 46, died at his home on Bates Street, American Spinning Community, Saturday night at 11 o'clock. He had been sick for three weeks and was apparently recovering from his illness when pnuemonia set in a few days before his death.
Mr. Ballew had lived in Greenville for 18 years and had made many friends in the mill community who will learn with regret of his death.
He is survived by four sisters, Miss Rosa Ballew, Miss Necie Ballew both of Greenville, Mrs. Norman Howard of Spartanburg and Mrs. Mack Chapman of this city; three brothers, A.A. Ballew of Greenville, A.K. Ballew of Pelzer and General Ballew.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 3:30 o'clock from the home, Rev. B.G. Fields officiating. Interment will follow in American Spinning company cemetery.
