Funeral of Mrs. Harold R. Griffin
Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Griffin, 49, wife of Harold R. Griffin, of 26 1/2 Bradford Street, who died Saturday in Wallkill were held Monday in the Methodist Church of New Paltz, Rev. Ball officiating.
Surviving beside her husband are her mother, Mrs. Katie Ackert of New Paltz; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Ronk, of Wallkill, Mrs. Margaret King of Newburgh,and Mrs. Ethel Van Lucien [sic], of New Paltz; two brothers, Herman Ackert, and Louie T. Ackert of New Paltz; three grandchildren, of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
The American Legion Auxiliary held committal rites with the American Legion post providing bearers.
Burial was in New Paltz Rural Cemetery.
