LINCOLNTON - Rebecca Marlene Cope, 60, of 839 High Shoals Road, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.

She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Bobby R. Branch Sr., and Betty Hill Branch.

She is survived by three daughters, Shelia Howland and husband Douglas, Sherri Cox and husband Ricky, and Beth Perkins and husband Ed; three sisters, Carolyn Smith and husband Kenny, Ruby Branch, and Dee Pope and husband Ricky also; one brother, Bobby Branch, Jr.; and five grandchildren, Jonathan Howland, Kyle Gregory, Evan and Emili Perkins, and Laci Howland.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Cope will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at The Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly with Pastor Robert Thompson and Pastor Matt Vanderbilt officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.

Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly, is serving the family.
