Dodge City -- Marie Brady, 86, died March 6, 1998, at Western Plains Regional Hospital.

She was born March 26, 1911, at Emmeram,, the daughter of John and Agnes Kuhn Dreiling.

She attended school at Emmeram and graduated from the Dominican Sisters School of Nursing, Great Bend. A Dodge City resident since 1948, she and her husband earlier lived on a farm north of Cimarron after they married. She was a homemaker. She belonged to Sacred Heart Cathedral and the cathedral's Altar Society both at Dodge City

On Nov. 27, 1935, she married W. D. Brady at Victoria. He died in 1976.

Survivors include: five sons, Leon and Delmar, both of Cunarron, Dwane, Dodge City Kenneth, Colorado Springs, Cob., and Joe, Coaldale, Cob.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Brady, in 1992.

Vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Dodge City with the Rev. John R. Strasser presiding. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until the vigil service Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City. Memorials may be sent to the donor's choice.
