Lela Young Robbins of Cowpens, SC, died at General Hospital on Wednesday afternoon, June 21, 1961, after a brief illness.
Daughter of the late Jehu Christopher "J.C." Young (1851–1921) and Sarah Edge Young (1858–1935) and the widow of Edgar A. Robbins.
A member of the First Baptist Church of Cowpens.
Survivors include daughters, Ophelia Lyda Robbins Dalton (1907-1994), Clara Pauline Robbins Clary Mullinax (1909-1982), Maudie E. Robbins McCraw (1912–2005), and Mrs. Oscar Garner; son, Theodore Monroe Robbins (1904–1970); sister, Mrs. W.F. Sellars; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
