Last rites were held on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the late home to St. Mary's Catholic Church, where the Rev. R.A. Kramer officiated. Interment was made in the old parish cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Bachhuber are his widow, nee Pauline Janssen, to whom he was married in 1912, his first wife, the former Mary Wild, having died in 1906 after they had been married for 16 years; three children, Mrs. Otto Grund of Milwaukee; A.A. Bachhuber of this city; and Mrs. J.M. Peters, Hartford.
Mr. Bachhuber is also survived by the following brothers and sisters. Mrs. Anton Welsch, Mrs. Anton Jansa, Joe, Frank Martin, Emeron, and Lawrence Bachhuber, all of this city; and Mrs. Paul Rohlinger, of Milwaukee. Three grandchildren also remain. One sister, Mrs. Albert Clark, preceded him in death.
Mr. Bachhuber served as alderman of the city for several years, and also conducted a business some years ago. He was a member of the old hook and ladder Fire Company.
