Bradford G. Anderson, 78, Science Hill, died Monday, November 16, after a lengthy illness.

The Wayne County native was born March 23, 1903, the son of George Washington Anderson and Sarah Belle Yocum Anderson.

A farmer and former railroad employee, he was a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church.

He was married September 22, 1923, to the former Gracie West, who survives.

Other survivors are three sons, Robert Anderson, Somerset, Dewey and Donald Anderson, both of Science Hill; five daughters, Dorothy Dunsmore, Dade City, Florida, Ruby Mofield, Rushville, Indiana, Jean Clines, Arlington, Indiana, Cecile "Bea" Wesley and Della Crow, both of Science Hill; two brothers, Allen Anderson, Sheridan, Indiana, and Doolin Anderson, Science Hill; three sisters, Zenia Hines, Nelson Valley, Myrtle Brown, Ladoga, Indiana, and Lee Anderson, Mt. Zion; 35 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were a son, Delmar, and a brother, Elmer.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, with the Reverends Allen Moran and Ellis Watson officiating.

Burial will be in the Science Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
