William L. Barrett, aged 29, son of David J. and Mary B. (Spicher) Barrett of Templeton died March 25, 1931 at 4:20 p.m. in the hospital at New Castle, PA following an operation. While his friends knew he was in the hospital, his death came as a great shock. Members of the family were summoned, but were unable to reach his bedsie before the end came. He was employed by the Whittaker Diehl Construction Co. He is survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters all of Templeton, Clarence, Leonard, Lee, Thomas, Kenneth, Duane, Evelyn, Idell, Kathadine, Yvonne, and Vivian. A sister, Mona and three infant brothers preceded him in death. The body will be brought to the home of his parents Thursday. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Templeton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Walter Kennedy in charge. Interment will be in the Cochran Cemetery
