Service for Gwen Harvey, 75, of Wichita Falls was to be Saturday, Aug. 17, at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ was to officiate. Burial was to follow at Restland Cemetery.
She was the mother of Walter Harvey of Decatur. Harvey died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, in Decatur. Born Aug. 8, 1927, in Dodson to the late W.S. "Pat" and Maude (Bradshaw) Patterson, she was a retired administrative secretary for Eureka Life Insurance Company and then worked for Great Western Directories. She was a member of the Church of Christ and had lived in Wichita Falls for 55 years.
She is survived by two sons, Walter Harvey of Decatur and Jeff Harvey of Olney; three sisters, Mahoma Mann of Plainview, Polly McCormack of Wichita Falls and Ruby Holland of Brandon, Miss.; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
