John W. Cox, 74, of Soddy-Daisy died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at a local hospital.
He is a member of Daisy United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked as a glazier for several local glass companies and established and operated Cox Vinyl Siding Co. in Soddy-Daisy until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter and 3 sons, 2 sisters, 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Clark and Rev. Jim Hensley officiating.
Interment will be in Rhea Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. today.
