J.B. Cox, 81, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, in a local hospital.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Soddy-Daisy and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
His wife, Ethel Cox, and a daughter, Darlene Goins, preceded him in death.
He is survived by four sons, seven daughters, two sisters, 29 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 13, 2003, in the chapel of Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Seton Tomyn and the Rev. James Bandy officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
