Donald R. Deems, 50, formerly of York, died at 12:05 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2005, at Hospice of Northeast Florida, Jacksonville, Fla. He was the husband of Kristina L. (Jackson) Deems. 


Mr. and Mrs. Deems observed their 4th wedding anniversary on March 25, 2004. Born September 23, 1954, in Erie, Pa., son of Mary Shirley (Wisneski) Deems of York and the late William

Robert Deems. He was an employee of E.P.C.-Bechtel and was a lifetime member of HOGS (Harley Owners Group). In addition to his wife and mother, Don is survived by a stepson, Benjamin Rollins of Northglenn, Colo.; a step grandson, Sean Henry Rollins of Northglenn, Colo.; a brother, James M. Deems of Dallastown; and three sisters, Cynthia A. Kraft of Wrightsville, Christine L. Menges of Dillsburg, and Carolyn J. Purvis of Indianapolis, Ind. Burial was in Mount Rose Cemetery.
