Glen was the son of Homer and Gertrude (Humphrey) Coberly. In 1942, he married Marjorie Davis. She died May 14, 1973. Glen was a 1939 graduate of Chillicothe High School and spent most of his life in the Chillicothe area. He lived in Rock Island, Illinois from 1946 to 1950. During WWII, he served in the United States Army. Glen was a farmer. He was a member of St. Columban Catholic Church; Vern R. Click Post No. 25, The American Legion, and Egales Lodge Aerie No. 2428. Survivors include sons Curt and Carter, daughter Linda, sister Lestie, and five grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by four sisters. (Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune)
