Lucy was the daughter of John Sands Niles and Elizabeth Lilly. In the 1850's the family moved to Windsor Township, Dane County, Wisconsin. In 1858 she married Joseph Warren Buck and in 1859 had a daughter, Almeda Buck(1859-1886, who married Joel Randal Burrow of Smith Center, Kansas), and in 1861 a son, Eli Buck (1861-1867). Mr. Buck was a member of the Wisconsin 11th regiment infantry and he died during the Civil War. In 1866 Lucy married William Henry Parliament, who also was a Civil War veteran. In 1867 she had a son, George N. Parliament. Sometime between 1880 and 1900 Lucy moved to West Branch, Michigan. Note: Lucy's gravestone has the wrong death year.
