Nellie Ann Culp, was born Dec. 24, 1901 at Olive, Indian Territory, the daughter of John W. Holeman and Vida Holeman, a pioneer family of Creek County. She married William L. Culp on July 12, 1930 in Oklahoma City, OK. Mr. Culp preceded her in death in 1955. Mrs. Culp resided at Drumright until October 1988 when she moved to Oklahoma City. She was a member of the Drumright Methodist Church. She is survived by 3 daughters Wilma Twining of Ardmore, LaVaughn Mouser of Joplin, Mo, Jo Ann Beard of El Reno, 8 grandchildren John Hammond, Linda Barger, Mary Johnson, Gene, Bill and Jeff Mouser, Bob Beard and Sherri Farmer, and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 5 sisters Nina Bruce of Anderson, IN, Betty Stow of Modesto, CA, Florence Yokley of Okc, Juanita Brooks of Olympia, WA, and Lorene Fine of Tucker, GA, 2 brothers Lawrence Holeman of Chickasha and John D. Holeman of Stone Mountain, GA. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Colonial Chapel South, followed by 2 p.m. committal service at Brooks Cemetery, near Oilton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Family Hospice of Greater OKC, 4900 Richmond Sq., Suite 203, OKC 73118 or the First Methodist Church of Drumright.
