Mildred Lois Parr, age 82, of Roaring Springs, passed from this life on December 24th, 2012 at Paducah Nursing Center. She was born on August 28th, 1930 in Dickens, County to the late Charles Otto and Ross Zetta McLean Underwood. She was a caregiver.
Those left to cherish her memory include: one son: Dewayne Parr of Roaring Springs,TX; six sisters: Dora Hurt of Matador,TX, Barbara Marvel of Roaring Springs,TX, Emma Jean Grant of Paducah,TX, Sarah and Mary Martin, both of Wellington, TX and Rose Martin of Hamlin, TX; one brother: Charles Underwood of Huntington Beach, CA; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death include: one daughter; four sisters and one brother.
Public visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, December 26th, 2012 from 3 - 8 pm and Thursday, December 27th, 2012 from 8 to 1 pm. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 27th, 2012 at Roaring Springs Cemetery with Joe Martin officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Zapata Funeral Home of Matador.
