She was a 1955 graduate of Dennysville High School. She worked for many years babysitting the children from the town of Whiting. She enjoyed knitting, quilting,and playing Rummey Kube. She was a member of the Whiting Quilters.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Gardner; and two brothers, Byron and Bruce. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her children, Janine of Skowhegan, Alan and friend, Laurie, of Machiasport, and Jody and husband, Larry, of Holden; grandchildren, Jennifer and friend, Clifford, Henry and wife, Kelsey, Jordan, and Cole; six great-grandchildren; five brothers, Malcolm, Franklin, David, John and Doug; and her companion, Lester Seeley.
