He is survived by his wife, Delores; two children, Jill Benz, Dickinson, and Alan Ackerman, Dallas, Texas; two grandchildren; three brothers, Elmer, Garland, Texas, and Edward and Donald, both of Wishek; and one sister, Ida Quatier, Sioux Falls, S.D.
