Calvin D.J. (Bud) Dorman of Mangum, Okla. died Wednesday, Oct. 5 in the home of his son, Joe, in Allen. Born March 11, 1921 in Oklahoma City, he came to Samnorwood-Dozier area as a child with his family.
Calvin D.J. Dorman and Miss Dorothy Semrad were married December 26, 1940 in the Sacred Hearth Catholic Cathedral in Amarillo. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He moved to Mangum, Okla. in April 1963. He was retired EMT. He owned and operated an
ambulance service for 30 years in Mangum. He was a Catholic. Survivors include: his wife of the home; two sons, Joe Dorman of
Allen, John Dorman of Thermopolis, Wyoming; a daughter, Mary Ann Field of Barrington, Rhode Island; five brothers, B.F. Dorman of Pampa, Bus Dorman of Wheeler, Charlie Dorman of Grand Junction, Colo., Don Dorman of Grandbury, and Jerry Dorman of Amarillo; two
sisters, Viola Carver and Zella Blandford of Amarillo; eight
grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Graveside service for Calvin D.J. (Bud) Dorman of Mangum, Oklahoma was held in the Shamrock Cemetery Saturday, October 8 at 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon. Wake was held in Greer Funeral Chapel in Mangum, Oklahoma at 7:00 Friday, October 7 and funeral services were conducted in Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral in Mangum.
Interment was in Shamrock Cemetery by Richerson Funeral Home.
Mr. Dorman died Wednesday, October 5 in the home of his son, Joe, in Allen, Texas.
