Mrs. Georgia Baker McCord, 79, of Braggadocio, died February 25, 1988 at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett. Born February 22, 1909 in Braggadocio, she was the daughter of Albert E. and Amanda Jane Kirsey Blankenship. She was the widow of William Franklin Baker and a member of Wapanucka (Okla.) Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Billy A. Baker of Overland, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Christine Saffley of Florissant, Mrs. Jessie Delores Dockins and Mrs. Mary Jane Seward, both of Kennett; 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, J.E., George and Charles D. Baker, and one daughter, Ruth Ann Baker.
Services were February 27 at McDaniel Funeral Home chapel in Kennett, the Rev. Gary Henson officiated, with burial in Dunklin Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were grandsons, David, Tim, Mark and Billy Dale Baker, Greg Seward and Larry Poindexter. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons, Jim and Steve Baker, Keith Dockins and Mike Echoff.
