Ferrol Annita Burkhalter, 87, died Wednesday, May 23, 2001.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Westman, pastor, and Joe G Jernigan officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Burkhalter moved to Shamrock in 1932 from Plainview, Okla. She and her husband owned and operated Jay's Grill for many years.
Survivors include [edited for privacy], 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
The family suggest memorials be to First United Methodist Church youth fund, Shamrock, Texas.
