William Caines

Hinesville William (Billy) Caines, 63 died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Hinesville. He was retired as a self- employed contractor and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hinesville. He was predeceased by his parents WW (Flebo) and Marjorie Caines and son Petty Officer Third Class US Coast Guard James G. Caines. Survivors are his sons Jonathan (Karen) Caines of Ludowici and Robert Caines of Hinesville; brother Lawrence Caines of Savannah; sisters Jean Hartwell of Myrtle Beach, SC., Carol Caines of Beaumont, TX, and Laurie Padgett of Hinesville; 5 grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers are Frank Adams, Lin Stanford, Dennis Barrington, David Lee, Roland Yarbrough, Jerry Wheeler, and Herbert Stacy. Active Pallbearers are Alvin Caines, Jack Caines, Henry Caines Jr., Joel Hartwell, Mickey Parker, and Phillip Parker. Visitation will be Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 4-6 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral will be Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Carter Funeral Home with burial at Hinesville Cemetery. Rev. James Griner officiating. Family request that all Floral arrangements be made through Stacy's Florist in Flemington.
