HENRY M. HENDRIX DIES IN ELY

Henry M. Hendrix passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 17, at 2:20 o'clock in the home of his daughter, Amanda Hendrix of Ely. He was born September 18, 1864 in Raritan Ill., the son of the late Henry W. and Sarah Wingfield Hendrix.
He is survived by eight children, Edgar of Hunnewell, Amanda, Harry, Charles, George and Mrs. Charles Nichols, all of Ely, rs. Dewey Curless of Monroe City and rs. Albert Colliver of Hassard. One sister, Miss G. W Dunn of Hutchinson, Kan., fourteen grandchildren six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife and three children.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist Church in Monroe City with the Rev. W. T. Harper officiating.
