He was a member of American Legion-North Lewisburg Post, Blazing Star Lodge 268 Free and Accepted Masons and Shrine, Woodstock Lions Club, and a member of Church of Christ in Christion Union, 1115 North Main Street, Urbana, where funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Carl Ogden officiated.
