KENNETH D. GRAVES 75, South Charleston, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Monday, March 4, 1996, in Eaglewood Care Center. He was born June 4, 1920, in Madison County, Ohio, the son of Alfred and Lucretia (Sampson) Graves. Mr. Graves was a member of Fletcher Chapel United Methodist Chruch, and was a Past Master of Fielding Lodge 192 Free and Accepted Masons, Anna Gilbert Chapter 490 Eastern Star, Khana Shahar Grotto. He was a former member of the South Charleston Village Commission and the South Charleston Zoning Board, and helped to establish the Volunteer Fire Department in South Charleston. Mr. Graves operated the Kenneth Graves Nationwide Insurance Agency of 48 years, starting in Springfield and then in South Charleston. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Olen, Hoyt, and Robert. Friends were able to visit in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME from 2 until 4 and 7until 9 p.m. Wednesday, Masonic Services were held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Funeral Home with Revs. Randy Skillings and Jim Britton officiating. Entombment was in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
