Effingham, Kan., April 10 -- Glenn Rousey, aged 80, believed to have been one of the oldest city marshalls in the state, was killed here a few days ago when he attempted to stop a runaway team of horses.
Losing his grip on the bridle rein of the "nigh" horse Rousey fell to the ground and the loaded wagon passed over his body, crushing his chest and fracturing his skull.
