John Douglas Drinnen was born on
September 18, 1887 at Beattie, Kansas
and passed away at the home of Mrs.
Lena Denlinger, Frankfort, Kansas on
October 5, 1929 at the age of 42 years
and 17 days.

He grew to young manhood in this
community and on September 29,
1908 was married to Miss Anna Oswald
of Frankfort, Kansas, who survives him.
to this union was born five children
three boys Sydney, Cecil and Homer;
two girls, Helen and Ruth; also his
father, of Savonberg, Kansas a sister,
Mrs. Ivan Carver, Chanute, Kansas;
two brothers, Amos Drinnen La Porte,
Indiana, and Thomas Drinnen, Wilniers-
gton, Delaware. His mother died when
he was a small boy.

He had a happy smile and radiated
sunshine wherever he went. His
influence will live not only in the
hearts of his children but also in
his community.

Interment was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
