BIO:
Allen Francis was born on Sept. 15, 1896 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the 3rd of nine children of Frank and Eva (nee Michel) Duesler.
He had brothers, Joe, George, John & Francis who died as a baby and sisters, Daisy, Isabell, Gladys and Mary. He grew up in Cleveland and served as a pvt. in World War I for 3 months in the 31st Co, 8th Training BN, 158th Depot Brigade.
Allen was 25 when married Sadie Ann Farron, she was 24, on June 22, 1921 in Cleveland.
He & Sadie had four children listed above. He was a steam fitter for National Screw Co. Allen was about 5' 9" tall with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
He and Sadie had been married 37 years & were living at 1118 E. 112th St. in Cleveland when he died April 5, 1959 from lung cancer in Huron Road Hospital at age 62. He had been a heavy smoker.
He is buried at Calvary Cemetery, Sec. 85, Lot 4097, Graves 1 & 2 in Cleveland, Ohio along with his wife Sadie, who passed away 10 years later on Sept. 1, 1969, and his mother Eva, who is in Sec. 79.
He was survived by his wife, children, five grandchildren, brothers George and John and sisters, Daisy, Isabell, Gladys and Mary.

The family will receive friends 2-10 p.m. Tuesday, at the Monreal Funeral Home, 15132 Euclid Ave. at Shaw. Services St. Agatha Church (Superior at Lakeview). Wednesday, Apr. 8, at 10 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
