Emmett Terry, 85, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Cleveland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Emmett was born in 1927 in Comanche County and was raised in Coleman County. He was a member of the Church of Christ and will be remembered for his love of the Lord.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Eunice Terry; daughters, Sherrill and Rand Carlson, Cindy and Jack Bryant and Tawana Mills; sisters, Fontella Knight and Bonnie Young; grandchildren, Marla Hamilton, Terry Carlson, Jennifer Joiner, Stacey Bryant, Travis Mills, Emmett Mills and Rachel Mills; and great-grandchildren, Courtney and Ryleigh Hamilton, Samuel and Noah Joiner, and Nicholas, Michael and Emmalee Mills.
