Joseph W. Glahn was a veteran of many years in the newspaper circulation service. He was an agent serving the Daily Oklahoman and Farmer-Stockman, both of Oklahoma City, Enid newspapers and finally the Witchita Beacon. He retired in 1955.
Glahn made the Cherokee Strip run and settled first near Jefferson and later moved to Enid where he lived for forty-five years.
