Kathleen Mae Whitticar, 84, of Custar, Ohio died Monday morning, October 10, 2011 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, Ohio.
She was born June 27, 1927 in Bascom, Ohio to the late Jacob and Lena (Ireland) Hunt.
On August 8, 1946 she married Raymond Leimgruber and they were later divorced.
On February 14, 1988 she married Nelson Whitticar and he preceded her in death.
Kathleen worked as an aide at the former Hancock County Nursing Home and as a cook at Oak Grove Nursing Home, Deshler. She was a member of Hoytville United Methodist Church and the D.A.V., Findlay, Ohio.
She is survived by daughters, Evelyn (Duane) Hathaway, Deshler, Ohio; Deborah (Robert) Fackler, Custar; Linda VanScoder, Hoytville; 18 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandsons and brother, Jacob Hunt, Newark, Ohio.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Raymond Leimgruber, Jr. and Roger Leimgruber; step daughter, Deanna Ackerman; and four sisters, Marilyn Hunt, Jerry Emmons, Josephine Couch and Vondale Harmon.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Rev. Donald Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore, Ohio.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
