81 year old, John ‘Jack' L. DeMoss of Wheatfield
passed away November 16, 2012 in Rensselaer,
Indiana.
On September 4, 1931, Jack was born to Louis
and Jessie (nee: Daniels) DeMoss in Rensselaer,
Indiana. Jack graduated from Fair Oaks Schools.
On July 29, 1950, he married the love of his life:
Naomi Conley in Rensselaer, Indiana. Jack
farmed, was a member of the International
Union of Operating Engineers Local 150 District
7 for 44 years and loved his hobbies of: golfing,
bowling, camping, playing cards with friends,
and spending time with family. He attended
Amazing Grace Fellowship at Francesville.
Jack is survived by his loving wife: Naomi, children: Steven (Gina) DeMoss, Larry
(Teresa) DeMoss, Kathryn (Victor) Rodriguez, Jim (Pam) DeMoss, Charles
(Colleen) DeMoss, Lila (Tom) Fritz, Marcus (Sharon) DeMoss, Diane (Alvin)
Hansen, 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Alice Dobson,
Christine Gilbert, Janice Sell, and Cecil ‘Buck' (Deana) DeMoss.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents: Louis & Jessie DeMoss, and siblings:
Mildred, Peggy, Ethel, Larry, Delores and Richard.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, November 19, 2012 from
4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (CST) at the Calvery Assembly of God Church in DeMotte.
Services for Jack will take place on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
(CST) at the Calvery Assembly of God Church in DeMotte, with Pastor Jerry
Scitern officiating. Interment will take place at the Independence Cemetery.
