Mrs. Lettie Wilder, 81, died unexpectedly late Tuesday at her home at 515 S. Burlington.
She was born Feb. 2, 1871, in Iowa and had been a resident of Nebraska for 75 years, coming to Hastings three years ago from Ayr. She was the widow of Frank Wilder.
Survivors include her sons, Ellis of Hastings and Loren of Denver; a daughter, Miss Verna Wilder of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie William of Ogden, Utah, and Mrs. Belle Hake of Napa, Calif., four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge.

Following prayer at the Livingston-butler-Volland Chapel funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the Methodist Church at Ayr for Mrs. Lettie Wilder. The Rev. Robert Wigert officiated, assisted by the Rev. Duane Hutchinson. Vernon Carper sang, with Mrs. Carper as accompanist.
Ed Brown, Stephen Coleman, Vance Connelly, Emory Woodworth, Lester Woods and William Brandts of Denver were the pallbearers. Burial was in the Blue Valley cemetery.
