Funeral services for Frank J. Wilder, 76, who died at his home Sunday, will be held at the Ayr Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Blue Valley cemetery. Preceding the church rites, a prayer service will be held at the home at 1:30 o'clock.
Mr. Wilder was well known in the vicinity, having been a resident here for 48 years. Mr. and Mrs. Wilder celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 30, 1939.
Survivors are his wife, Lettie, one daughter, Verna at home and two sons, Ellis of Hastings and Loren of Denver, Colo.
Merten Funeral Home of Blue Hill is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Ayr--Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Methodist Church with the Rev. Mr. Lewis in charge for Frank Wilder; 76, who died Sunday of a heart attack.
Mrs. F.E. Robinson, Mrs. S.L. Coleman, Clyde Ratcliff and Deverde Carper sang, with Mrs. Walter Gartner at the piano.
Pallbearers were Frank Wintermute, Ben Wigert, Forest Robinson, Clifford Radley, W.W. Gates and Jay Goble. Flower bearers were Beulah and Laureen Coutts, Lela Dreucker, Laverda Heltenberg, Aileen Sanford, Lois Thompson and Darlene Gerloff.
Burial was in Blue Valley cemetery.
Frank Wilder was born November 7, 1864, in Missouri. He came here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wilder, in a covered wagon from Missouri on March 8, 1880, and settled on a farm near Brickton. On October 30, 1889, he was united in marriage to Miss Lettie Allender, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Presley Allender. Mr. and Mrs. Wilder celebrated their golden wedding anniversary October 30, 1939. The first four years of their married life they lived on a farm near Ayr. Forty eight years ago they moved to Ayr where they have since resided. For many years he had done plastering and paper hanging and operated a barber shop. He operated a barber shop in his home until his death. Three children were born to them, two sons and a daughter, all of whom with Mrs. Wilder survive. They are Loren of Denver and Ellis of Hastings and Verna at home. There are five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
