Mrs. J. B. Whitworth died last Wednesday night after a prolonged struggle with typhoid fever.
She was buried at the cemetery last Friday morning. She leaves a husband and several children and many other relatives to mourn her loss, and to them THE HERALD tends its sympathy.

Caroline Lampkin married James B. Whitworth about 1869, and they lived in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Their children were Mary Eva (Whitworth) Bonds, James Clarence Whitworth, Anna J. (Whitworth) Chandler, Lillie (Whitworth) Slaughter, Nancy P. (Whitworth) Jackson, and William Hiram Whitworth.
