A native of Massillon, Mrs. Covell had been employed for eight years at Baltzly Drugs and for six years at the Perry division of Affiliated Hospital Products, Inc.
She was a member of the Massillon Baptist temple.
Survivors include two daughters, the Misses Terry Lyn and Cynthia Marie Covell, both at home; her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Willard W. Mapes of Massillon; three sisters, Mrs. Jennifer Perry of Massillon, Mrs. Peggy Espinoza of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Rosemary McCreery of Texas City, Tex.; a step-sister, Mrs. Ralph Peters of Massillon; a brother, Gene Zorger, of Massillon; and a step-brother, Willard Mapes, jr. who is serving with the U.S. Navy.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Gordon-Shaidnagle-Hollinger funeral home with the Rev. Ronald E. Urban, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be made in the Brookfield cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9.
