"The late George F Losey, of Weston, who was found dead February 23rd, would have been 60 years old on February 24th, the following day. He married Miss Susan Bigelow about 30 years ago. He is survived by his wife and daughter, Mrs. Minnie Benedict, of Dundee, a step-son, Clyde Bigelow, of Eddytown, and one brother, William Losey, of Ovid, Mich. He had held the office of assessor of the town for about eight years. Mr. Losey served in the war from 1963 to 65." (Watkins Democrat, Thursday, 7 Mar 1901).
