"In Penn Yan, April 30, 1918, Mrs. Fern Benedict, aged 44 years. Mrs. Benedict had been in poor health for several weeks before her death and the last two weeks she suffered constantly. Her maiden name was Minnie Losey, and she and Mr. Benedict lived in Dundee. She leaves her husband, two sons, George Wesley and Alton; and a daughter, Edyssa; and her step-mother [s/b mother].
