CHARLES F. ZIEBELL (d. 1949)
Charles F. Ziebell, 71, of 953? North Ninth street, died early Sunday morning
after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran
church, the Rev. Theo Uetzmann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
cemetery.
Mr. Ziebell was born in 1877 in Manitowoc. He married Bertha Saeger at Reedsville
in 1901 and moved to Hilbert, Wis. Thirty-seven years ago they moved to Manitowoc
where they have lived since. He was a sheet metal worker for the Rathsack
Hardware company before going to work at the city garage in 1933. He retired six
years ago.
Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Erwin Gomm, Mrs. Hillary Freund
and Mrs. Laurie Robertson, all of Manitowoc; and three sons, Edward and Charles
of Manitowoc and Clarence of Phoenix, Ari.
The body may be viewed at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home until 10 a.m.
Tuesday when it will be taken to the church. It will lie in state there until
time of services.
