Mr. Wiegand, 61, a lifelong resident of Brillion, was found dead in bed of a heart stroke, Friday morning at the Globe hotel, where he had resided for the past several years.
His wife preceded him in death many years ago as did a young son, a sister and a brother.
The only survivor is a half brother, Charles Ziebell of Manitowoc. He was employed at the Brillion Iron Works, Inc., at the time of his death and had not been in the best of health for some time.
Mr. Wiegand was born in Brillion Jan. 1, 1887, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Otto Wiegand. He was married to Miss Adeline Yahr at Brillion, June 28, 1912.
